EDUCATION
Tuition assistance is provided to qualified students. The best gift to give to any youth who aspires greatness is education. As they rightly say, “knowledge is power.” Many young adults and even teenagers are out there on the street committing all sorts of atrocities only because they are not in school. There are many advantages of being in school.
In addition to tuition assistance and scholarships, our program aims at organizing seminars for the youth as we teach them the importance of education. We engage them with social and cultural activities such as networking and dance. We currently have students at:
- University of South Wales, United Kingdom.
- Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.
- Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria.
- Anambra State University, Nigeria.
FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Covid-19 lockdown, which came as a surprise to the world, prompted us to start massive distributions of bags of rice and other food items to support women, widows and less privileged in Ogidi, Anambra State, Nigeria, West Africa. Now it has become a December tradition in the sense that women gather from every nook and cranny on one chosen day in that month to partake in the rice distribution. We usually announce the date ahead of time for more publicity. As we continued to do the food outreach and monetary donations on an individual level, we got to a point where registering a charity organization became imminent. Lintoc Foundation was registered in 2021 in our quest to continue being an agent of change to the world at large.
